Fiction

When I'm not busy I revel in writing fiction for both adults and children and hope to publish my work in the future.

My style is surreal, subversive and rather witty in places. I've decided not to publish my work on this site, but here's some pictures from my children's story: Mo Splinter and the Balloon Maker.

Mo Splinter and the Balloon Maker

Inside a giant iron windmill on some windy hill, lived the greatest inventor the world had (not yet) seen. Spending so much time alone, building fantaboulous contraptions, the Balloon Maker had gone a bit ... well, mad. So mad that he'd started kidnapping people and, using machines like the TrumpDump and the Great Expander, turning them into giant balloons.

The Man who had Cheese for Brains

A new illustrated story, I'm working on with the illustrator, Emily Swann.

A man with cheese for brains falls in love with a beautiful mouse, but the more he falls in love, the more his memory fades.
